Sunday 23 February 2014

We have been doing graphs during Statistics.
On Friday we did a graph on our 'favourite takeaway food'. We had to stick our favourite takeaway on the graph. We then came up with some information we found out.

- McDonalds was the favourite takeaway option
- Only Jasper said Subway was his favourite
- 2 people enjoy fish and chips
- Riley was the only person who said BK was his favourite

We are getting really good at reading bar graphs.
We are looking forward to our trip to Wee Red Barn and the supermarket on Wednesday. We have been looking at the food in our lunchboxes. Check out Riley's and Awatea's yummy food. I love the snow peas and cucumber for an healthy option - yum yum!

Our big book we are reading this week is called, 'The Sunflower that went FLOP'. We looked at some of the sunflowers outside Totara ... some of them look like they've gone 'flop' as well!
Look at our clever swimming skills ...

Max was the fabulous Star of the Week during Week 2 - well done.
Today the weather was wet and cold, there was no swimming for us. Hopefully it clears by Wednesday!
